He's an undeniable legend with generational talent.

They're mad because he succeeded more than their favorite artist despite not being a rap culture golden boy (he's light skinned, Canadian, shows his emotions, grew up lower middle class not in poverty)

Yall gotta stop with this whole “the mean scary blacks hate Drake because he didn’t grow up on gov cheese” s***. It is ignorant af.

Kanye’s mom was a professor and niggas don’t hate him or judge his background

Drake and Nicki are going out sad with this Jay beef.

At least Wayne is still on great terms with him even with the Superbowl fiasco.

Hov is gonna crush the both of them.

Let's see who's still standing in 5 years

Lmfao what? Way to twist my words.

One of the main talking points of this beef pushed by Dot himself was how Drake was a culture vulture colonizer because he had the audacity to be a Canadian child actor that grew up in Forest Hills. That he should be forbidden from working with artists like Lil Baby and 21 because he didn't live that life. That he shouldn't even have the privilege of using the n-word.

Kanye doesn't have the respect of the culture either, even before his anti-semitic meltdown arc. People will list him as one of the greatest artists of our generation but leave him out of any big 3/top rapper discussions.

Both Kanye and Drake are considered legends in the real world, but on internet rap head discussion boards, neither of them ever got respect.

Lyrically examining Kanyes work, he doesnt really have Top Rapper level penwork, lmao. He is certainly not a slouch, but Thats more for the likes of Kendrick, black thought, lupe, Nas, Big, Em etc.

Also you can still find people in the "Real World" that will share my same sentiment above, lmao.

And the reason why hes out of "Big 3" is because hes not of kendrick drake and coles generation?

He should be mores grouped up with the likes of Camron, 50, Ludacris etc, which he is the best out of the bunch.

Top MC for him? probably not feasible. One of the best in Hip Hop?
    undeniable

And the respect for him?l ol he gets plenty truss.

He gets called a culture vulture colonizer because one second he’s a southern American nigga, the next song he’s from UK, the next song he’s a naija boy, etc. he cycles through different personas like they are outfits. And then his fans like you give him credit for birthing whatever scene or artist he is latching himself onto at the time

Kendrick said the N word s*** because Drake didn’t come up talking like that in fact he even thought the way niggas spoke was ignorant.

And saying the culture doesn’t respect Kanye is just straight up ignorant

    To your first point:

So... you're agreeing with me as to what people went after him for?

You genuinely believe that an artist has to grow up a certain way, live a certain way, use certain slang in order to then explore that cultures related music genre 2 decades later?

God forbid an artist wants to experiment with different genres and sounds. Would you rather artists stay in their own lane, doing their same old played out sound, and flop and flounder and become stagnant (Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, 90% of artists that have come up in the past decade)?

    To your second point:

Haven't seen one person credit Drake for birthing UK Drill, or house, afrobeats, trap. That's one strawman ass argument you got there.

To your third point: Again, so just because Drake didn't use ebonics as a 12 year old kid in an interview for his TV show (you really think they would let him speak like that on there?), now he can't use that word in his music TWO DECADES LATER? Also I'm not sure that the interview had surfaced at the time Dot mentioned that.
