Aikonone of these songs except LNCL dropped after Life Is Good
none of the features hes done have had remotely the same impact
Drake and Future work well together and their songs always do numbers. So it makes sense to collaborate with each other….it aint about “crawling for a hit” when u dont even know who hit up who
I'm sure Future hit up Drake since the songs went to him lol.
Drake gave BlocBoy JB a top 10/5x Platinum hit. Did the same for Lil Baby, Meek Mill and Chris Brown. Future ain't the only one benefiting from the stimulus.
Drake is exponentially bigger than Future and Drake has proven at every turn that he can get hits for himself. Future.. not so much. It's not a knock on Future or anything but it's a fact.

They don't need each other. Drake just likes to work with Future because they have chemistry. Same with how he likes to work with Rick Ross. Doesn't mean he NEEDS Rick Ross or Future.

Never said he was the sole reason but he's the main reason. God's Plan is Eligible for 14x Platinum certification. In My Feelings/Nice For What both eligible for 8x Platinum certification. One Dance, Hotline Bling are also eligible for 10x Platinum certification. Toosie Slide/Laugh Now Cry Later both eligible for 6x Platinum certification.
Drake has always been good on his own. He'll get himself a hit whenever he wants. These days, Future can't do that. He has to link back up with Drake if he wants a hit and that'll remain a fact until he's able to get a hit for himself away from Drake.
