I always wonder why when someone like Rihanna Ed Sheeran Justin bieber etc drops the songs are sent to radio right away - I’m talking about the generic rhythmic local pop radio stations they have in every city - but when Drake drop it only pops up on these stations after the songs been a hit already for awhile on streaming / billboard charts. Drake is just as big if not bigger a pop star as any of the the above mentioned artists.

I feel like it’s because he’s considered more of a “rapper” then popstar. Which is also dumb , because if you think about it , pop music is supposed to be “popular” music and rap is hottest genre.
