Year b I got to college I was bumping club paradise on campus as it just came out 5 days prior to this day today and realized I had my whole life set out ahead of me. Been through tumultuous ups and downs in life but music has always been that one constant in my life especially at this season of the year right before fall. Then we get a drake song today that sounds like it, 12 years later. Makes you realize music does transcend time and space and can put you back to where you were 12 years ago almost to the day

The first time I heard Club Paradise I was on my way to a college campus tour of Penn State. I played that song damn near the whole 5+ hour bus ride.

Up to that point, I was a casual Drake fan. Once I heard Club Paradise,I was in love with Drake’s music ever since.
