I agree, my point was that he rapped on the album, the structure and theme of this album isn’t rap focused at all and that dude is trying to force some rap battle where two artist were only concerned with making the song they wanted and like SinceKumbaya was referring to Drake tied it together at the end. It makes it extra special that it cemented him tying MJ officially and also got his brother Cole his 1st number one. A good historical moment going into his break from recording

at this point Drake has no true opponents that can ruin him or destroy too much of the legacy he’s built
so he has a much lower incentive to push his limits or prove anything to anyone
his whole discography after IYRTITL imo has been a victory lap
