Uploading music that isn't on streaming and making it part of your library is significantly easier on Apple
Ouuu I like this, converting YouTube songs to Spotify is such a pain
What’s better about Apple Music? Convert me to the resistance
local file integration is top tier (something necessary for hip hop fans because mixtapes are/were so common in this genre)
you can edit metadata how you want, so you can group loose singles together into a little EP or change cover art to something custom
highest quality audio for no price increase

Like @JPEGMAFIA said, adding music that is not on streaming is ridiculously easy and then having it synced everywhere is amazing.
I had a pretty big library pre-streaming so having all that still available is a huge plus. Custom artwork and ability to edit metadata is very easy.
Ease of use on all Apple devices if you are in the ecosystem is a big plus.
I'm not into the communal aspects like some people are that prefer Spotify. But tbh I never really used Spotify and have been with AM from the legit jump so just don't plan to move lol, I don't really think Spotify is that bad from the outside.

Damn the file integration alone is crucial
Any difference in the shuffle/playlist or radio stations quality as far as similar music recommended/variety ect?
That’s the one place I thought pandora had the drop on spotify

apparently Spotify’s algorithm is better, but i always choose what i listen to so that’s never mattered to me
Also it hasn’t been mentioned but you can bundle Apple Music with Apple TV and iCloud storage and all your other Apple subscriptions.

Spotify has the best algorithm for finding new stuff and better curated playlists. If you don’t care about that AM is king
insane schizo behaviour

Apple has really upped their algorithm the last few years I find myself just letting it play sometimes. Can't compare it to Spotify cause I don't use it but it's better than the perception of it for sure

Spotify algorithm is good for playlist building, I’ve noticed Apple just plays the same songs in their algorithm but I’ve used both and they both work
Sometimes the infinity can be stupid like playing young thug check after I just finished a Kendrick or Boldy James album or playing NLU immediately after listening to Drake but yeah
wait why is this happening
If I'm not mistaken, Drake is saying he's being suppressed by spotify
jw why do you think this?
i signed up for AM to listen to views and never switched. but aside from that period on spotify where you werent able to upload your own music to the cloud and have it sit in your library like u could on AM, i feel spotify was always better. maybe its grass is greener thinking.
like the algorithm, autoplay and playlists and just finding new artists to listen to seems way easier on spotify.
Ehhh it depends on the last part... Spotify as made a lot more playlists that are taylored to your interests since like 2022-ish (you'll see it when it says "Made For You" under a playlist)
Feels like finding new stuff isn't as easy as it was before. Not a big issue for me since I browse multiple websites to get queues for new music (this website, etc) but I find it's easier to be in a music bubble on Spotify these days
yikes
The suppression in question:
spotify dropped the ball on scorpion release and made up for it
I haven't used Spotify in forever I just downloaded a music player on my phone and laptop. Not paying to not have ads. I always thought that was stupid asf
"This service gives me access to listen almost every album ever, why are there ads"
Couldn't imagine ever using Spotify
best decision i ever made, crodie
What these morons dont realize is every new album is a little hard to find via Search for the first few days. Just an algorithm thing.
its draining to see the anti-drake propaganda getting so normalised. kendrick cheated his listening numbers and suppressed drakes new album, how is this even remotely okay?
Wtf lmaooo
Back when Spotify was botting for Drake when Scorpion was released and had his face plastered all over different artist pages and genres. S*** was funny af
crazy that post was made by a woman of all genders, its usually the male drake fans doing weird s*** like this
wait why is this happening
Basically the beef was fake and Drake won
wait why is this happening
"MEET YOUR PADRE" is some of the worst s*** ever recorded and listeners the world over are deleting Spotify in response.
