I get it. Someone as big as him is not writing everything. I understand major songs with pop appeal not being entirely him. But raps? Like rap rapping on timestamp records/make them records? It feels like a cardinal sin for it to not be 100% Drake in my opinion

What people don't understand is that drake's job, or any front facing recording artist's job, their job isn't to write the song.

Writing songs is the most insignificant part of the music business.

Drake's job is to sell records. Use his likeness, his budget, to sell the song(s). Him being talented at writing is a plus.

Again, as drake's career has proven, you can find great writers and great songs for artists if it's needed. What you can't find are guys who can sell songs, albums, concert tickets, merch etc.

I personally think it's way different than Khaled.

Khaled takes whatever he can get from artists. His biggest asset is that he has a big budget, and artists give him songs because it's basically a free off cycle record with a huge budget behind it

Drake actually chooses the ideas, chooses the demos which isn't easy. You need a great ear for that. He also writes as well. Taking an idea that's roughly 40% complete and turning it into a great song is a very real talent.
