And why does he care exactly?
Obviously because it impacted the first week sales of VULTURES 2.
Kendrick stinks
I’m sure the ones laughing at Drake for the lawfare also called out Kendrick for orchestrating Taylor Made being taken down
You got 6 replies no likes cause they not trying to actually discuss the possibility to be clear I think umg did payola not Kendrick and I think 2pac estate ran it by him but if was their choice
He dropped a song under inter scope so it makes sense all parties are doing what leads to most profit
Umg knew this was coming and made sure it didn’t leak to public til Kendrick dropped
I can't name a song that had a more wasted beat than THE HEART PART 6 (Drake's version)
Holy f***, that's beat is probably a top 10 Boi-1da beat of all time
"Drake has repeatedly sought to engage UMG in discussions to resolve the ongoing harm he has suffered as a result of UMG’s actions,” the petition reads. “UMG refused to engage in negotiations, and insisted that UMG is not responsible for its own actions.”
Instead, Drake says UMG has “pointed the finger” at Lamar and insisted that Drake should sue his rival rather than the label. He also claims that UMG told him that the label would sue Lamar if Drake ended up filing his own lawsuit."
UMG will never admit wrongdoing in this under any circumstance. If they do this opens up a million other possible legal vulnerabilities from other artists claiming similar things and this will span across all of the big labels. Not just Universal. Nicki Minaj publicly went on how many rants about Roc Nation and Atlantic conspiring against her, for example. These artists hear and see crazy s*** behind the scenes we'll never be privy to but no one is going to actually try and go against these mammoth companies legally.. It can't possibly all be baseless stuff. This s*** really happens.
BURN IT ALL DOWNNNNN

KTT2 is pro corporations and labels now 🫶
Kendrick just opened his mouth
Someone go read his Miranda’s right now
drake cant open his mouth
he busy servin more paperwork right now
Like how does a nigga ignore the original fight for artists then further cement that the fight not happening by singing for half a billion get defended today cause we ain’t f***ing with him finally joining the fight now that it hurts him?
If he won this battle, this lawsuit don’t happen. Think about that. Dumbass niggas
Bruises don't give a f*** about anything but being a troll lol
YA DEAD !

I wanna fight you so bad bro, it's not even about you tbh, your avy just creases me fr
So 100 gigs was a way of drake testing the independent market?
✅
This will change the entire industry. Especially if the last couple of sentences in the Billboard article are true and UMG ends up suing Kendrick.
People keep saying that but that's not how a 3rd party suit works, umg just tryna shift blame, but in reality they have no standing to sue Kendrick, hes literally under contractual obligation with them to do what they'd be suing him for: making music 😂
Furthermore, even if it was a joinder that UMG brought Kendrick on in THIS case the court will only allow joinder when the "party is either indispensable for the court to make an order about that issue or is necessary". In this case, based on the charges alleged of fraud and routinely and systematically constructing a scheme, Kendrick would not be deemed indispensable to rule on Spotify or UMG's alleged fraudulence, as he is in no way in control of eithers organizational actions or given agency to execute as such 🤓
Ngl, it’s funny how serious ppl take this s***
The whole situation is mad funny to me
Bruises don't give a f*** about anything but being a troll lol
Are they really a mod?

I mean all these artists move in whichever way is beneficial for them solely.
But yeah there’s not much going for this other than Drake having his own issues with whatever that UMG was involved in behind closed doors interfering with his bag
I’m so disappointed in UMG.

You don't know your internet history
People be anti-capitalist when it comes to Kendrick fighting his label but tell them UFOs hoax is a grift and we shouldn’t send money to Ukraine and people turn into the quickest defenders of capital
