again, yall dont know what exactly we are talking about here. They are alleging fraudulent manipulation and cooperation with Spotify and AM that breaks the fiduciary duty that UMG owes its artist.
This is not merely a case of "suing cuz they pushed a song". They push music all the time. There's a diff between that and doing what UMG is alleged to have been doing for NLU
And you genuinely think this was the only example in an already proven corrupt industry…
Conveniently its the song making fun of you that everyone is having a blast singing along to

All them big words to cover up the fact that he only suing cus he lost is hilarious
b**** yes it is I know granny was cutting it up hallelujah
15 likes and also very believable
Do these niggas even hear themselves? Devaluing the dollar??
Dorks love to talk about the label taking advantage of artist and when The Boy tries to end that s*** they hate
No problem, I think people are having fun clowning Drake - and I get it, because there is some real bullshit in this filing - but people don’t get how lawsuits work. Frivolous and dumb claims are included because the point is very literally to paint a biased picture exaggerating harm done to the defendant. The Epic Games vs Apple lawsuit is a great example of this, if anyone wants proof of huge businesses making small frivolous bullshit claims. If the state allows the trial to proceed with discovery there’s some real crazy s*** that will likely come out from labels and Spotify here. I don’t think this is about Kendrick at all really, this seems more like Drake suicide bombing the industry
I really need to start watching that Industry show
It’s nothing like what’s going on here it’s a stock exchange drama

That’s what I was saying in another thread. This almost feels like he’s trying to be a martyr more than anything

People trying to turn this into Drake being some sort of Robin Hood figure are genuinely insane. This nigga has no other motivation beyond the historical ass whooping he took this summer
To be clear, unless Drake's pockets are hurting I'm not sure this is worth it. This is an awful, awful look.
But the fact that he went forward with it anyway, despite the optics, suggest that perhaps there's some legs to what they've already found and included in this (not yet) yet lawsuit.
I think...IMO, it makes sense that in the midst of negotiating a new 400M deal w/UMG, you'd take legal action if you felt that a record by a UMG artist, that was released on the same label that you're on greatly impacted potential and future earnings because of illegal tactics, as lame as it looks optically.
Such an awful look that it's almost too awful to not think that there's something else in the water with this s*** lol
Not tryna come off like I'm on the copium but this is such a weird fkn card to play lol
People forget Drake is a child star. He is use to getting what he wants so after the loss he is on his conspiracy theories s***. He can't believe he lost. He did the same thing to push a t. Took down story of Addidon on YouTube. UMG took it down lol

I mean, y'all just hate him
he should just go full MAGA at this point and win the lawsuit
nah he needs to start responding to haters individually on twitter
And you genuinely think this was the only example in an already proven corrupt industry…

i'm glad the angels have some fight left in them because they won't be able to recover from the next L their papi takes
If they admit to this, it would topple the music industry as we know it. This is never going to happen
(Also because it’s obviously not f***ing true)
That's why they will negotiate to "save the industry" in the settlement agreement. Settlement is a negotiation and if their motivation is to not topple the industry, they'll argue for it at the table.
I love how you can say it's not true when there has only been a plaintiff filing.
The drake won crowd got their work cut out for them
Okay no troll
This looks crazy (and I truly don't think bots had any real impact with NLU. Be fr)
But if I'm in negotiation w/UMG and find that UMG & Spotify in conjunction w/Interscope is using payola to artificially inflate a record, a record that hit while I'm trying to negotiate a bag,
is that not causing economic harm from his POV?
The drake won crowd got their work cut out for them
I thought he was so unbothered though
When you think about it, this how it’s suppose to be. When the two giants go head to head, the one that loses suppose to get his head chopped off. It’s a very clear loser in this situation
I swear yall dont read. It says "could" of course I made it up. I'm theorizing on what it could be. Settlement terms can be nearly anything
Funny how HDF... I mean Bulletproof says he doesn't want to argue. Then spends his whole time arguing.

It’s not true because it’s utterly ridiculous and the main point of evidence is an NFR Podcast tweet and a nutjob that appeared on a DJ Akademiks stream
The drake won crowd got their work cut out for them
I mean the biggest song in the world basically called him a pedo
