Close family friend use to work at an energy and water company that oversaw the entire city was their lead financial projector and shared a lot of interesting information on projections and ect

some journalist said that drake had already recouped on his $400 million deal with 1 album left on contract and that he was asking for 600-700 million in renegotiation. i wouldnt put it past UMG to push a diss record even more if it'll bring the price down. it also helps that the record being pushed is owned by us as well

Basically he admitted what every drake stan been denying
He's saying they tarnished his image to make contract negotiations more favorable for them.
Popularity wise Drake is still the most streamed rapper of 2024, still holds all his business deals, still ambassador of all his brands and so on and so forth.
But even if he wasn't, that's chump change compared to losing out on another 500m contract on the bottom end.
