k1r9There's already existing laws and regulations on how records should be serviced. UMG was already sued decades ago for payola to radio stations.
Streaming services have gone unchecked. If the allegations in the first petition is true about the streaming payout being lowered for NLU in exchange for Spoitfy boosting promotion, THIS NEEDS TO SERIOUSLY BE LOOKED INTO.
Laws and regulations need to be updated to ensure a fair playing field for all artists. Radio has been regulated, now it's time for these streaming services, as well as the labels that are in cahoots.
