Alright, I think enough time passed now and we're done with the elimination game so I'mma bring back Top 50 songs voting.
Basically, just post your top 15 Drake songs IN ORDER (please rank them)
The latest edition was back in 2017, you can check the results here:
kanyetothe.com/threads/ktts-top-50-drake-songs-2017-results.6659546
You have until the next Friday, March 11th - then I'll start counting the votes and compiling the list.
In previous editions songs where Drake was featured but "clearly dominated" the track (like I'm On One, Stay Schemin') were allowed but this year we'll limit ourselves to tracks were Drake is a lead artist so please don't put these in your lists. WATTBA songs are fine though (except Jersey ofc lol).
The exception to this rule are songs where Drake is the only one performing - Popstar, Greece, For Free etc.
E: Leaks and loosies are legit, I’m counting Love All and Sound 42/Need Me as two separate tracks
Interested to see how this goes
1. Do Not Disturb
2. No Tellin’
3. Days in the East
4. 5 Am in Toronto
5. Tuscan Leather
6. Club Paradise
7. The Motion
8. Money In The Grave
9. War
10. Star67
11. Chicago Freestyle
12. Company
13. Underground Kings
14. Crew Love
15. Fair Trade
These songs change all the time, but I tried my best to get my most consistent list. I wanted to keep it to official releases only but couldn’t keep a few loosies off my list
1) Marvin’s Room -THE quintessential Drake song. No artist DOA could make this record. It may be seen in a different light by youth, but if you were there for this moment you’ll understand. This was one of the definitive songs of my generation and I’ll forever love it for that. I honestly could write an entire post on its own about how relatable this song was for me at that time and how important it was for me, but I’ll save that for another day.
2) U Wit Me? - If it wasn’t for MR this would easily be #1. The sample, the lyrics, the third verse interpolation of VFT6 original intro…need I say more?
3) Dreams Money Can Buy - This was the song that made me a stan. I remember being a senior in high school and being a big fan of his (honestly at that time I preferred J Cole) but once this dropped and the TC era officially was underway I knew what time it was. I vividly remember riding in my whip listening to this with the windows down thinking to myself “this guy is going to be a legend”.
4) War - For my money his best rap song ever. The beat, the flows, the lyrics, and something about the timeframe that it dropped all just vividly stick with me. I know every word to this song.
5) Sweeterman (remix) - 2015 was arguably my favorite year of last decade. So many great things happened during that time, but something about this song just has always resonated with me and incapsulates my life at that time. If this was an official release (and I didn’t have to go to SoundCloud to listen) it would probably be higher.
6) Cameras/Good Ones Go - Pound for pound probably the best song on what I believe to be his best album. How do you have a two part song and they’re both perfect. Quite literally a 20/10.
7) Legend - Song would’ve been top ten off the instrumental alone. The fact that it was an intro to IYRT and he f***ing spazzed solidified the ranking. Funny enough I actually hated this song when I first heard it.
8) 4PM in Calabasas - I remember sitting in my room listening to OVOSR as I normally did every other Saturday and will always remember when this dropped. Pretty sure Steph Curry did a shoutout prior to this dropping. One of the only songs I’ve ever heard where my jaw literally dropped while listening to it. If anyone ever doubts Drake has a top tier pen, this is the song to play to prove them foolish.
9) 5AM in Toronto - I remember waking up at a friend’s house and checking Twitter first thing as I normally did back in 2013…and literally every single person on my TL was talking about this s***. When people say “when Drake drops the whole world stops and listens” was quite literally a fact for that song. Almost ten years later and it’s as grimy as ever.
10) Pipe Down - The newest song on the list. Honestly this song is like a time capsule to a TML era Drake but with all the evolution he’s had over the years. Instant classic.
11) From Time - Drake killed it. Jhené killed it. Both verses were real as f***. This song always takes me back to riding to a local college and linking with this girl I had a huge crush on at the time. Is it just me or was late 2013 when you really started figuring out who you are?
12) The Presentation - I don’t expect to see this song on anyone else’s list and honestly it’s kind of unexplainable how much I have love for this song. I think what I like about it the most is listening to it in retrospect and just hearing how hungry, confident, and ambitious he was. It’s like he knew what he would become and he manifested the f*** out of it on this track.
13) Come Thru - Quite simply his best melodic track of the 2010s and arguably his career and this was a f***ing bonus song. How do you drop not one but two 10/10 bonus songs on the same f***ing album. Unprecedented.
14) My Side - I probably should make a playlist off of the strength of Rihanna being Drake’s muse for all these years. Honestly this could be interchangeable with Days in the East, but there is something about the intro of this song that always hits me right in the feels.
15) Know Yourself - The gradual buildup of this song is beautiful. I remember going to the Summer Sixteen tour to see him and watching him preform this live and the place going absolutely bananas. I feel like it’s a requirement that anytime this song comes on in the whip you gotta scream the lyrics at the top of your lungs.

15 Notable Omissions:
Originally had Look Alive but realized I broke the rules, before the edit I had Look Alive at 13. (1) Crew Love because the Weeknd washes him and his contributions don't move me, (2) HYFR is just below, (3) War and (4) Chicago Freestyle are just below. (5) Sicko Mode that prob deserve to be in someone's top 15. (6) Behind Barz is underrated, (7) Connect is underrated (8) All I Need w/ Popcaan is underrated, (9) Shot For Me is great, (10) Controlla would've maybe made it if he kept the Popcaan verse. (11) Signs is a great dancehall track, (12) Back to Back is a banger and I'm sad he prob won't ever do it again, (13) Scholarships and (14) Change Locations are great collabs off the joint w/ Future. (15) Sandra's Rose.
15 Worst Drake Songs
(1) Fake Love is trash and I hated it every time it came on.
(2) Toosie Slide is a very boring and cynical endeavor.
(3) Ratchet Happy Birthday was a funny meme for a year.
(4) I'm Upset was a sign of Scorpion's quality.
(5) Wu-Tang Forever
(6) Way 2 Sexy w/ Future and Young Thug is cynical to me.
(7) Make Me Proud w/ Nicki sticks out pretty bad on that album.
(8) Summer Games
(9) Don't Matter to Me w/ Michael's Estate
(10) 9
Think I'll actually cut it here, don't think he has enough bad songs to make a full 15 song hater list tho I'm prob forgetting some.

You should get banned for calling Wutang Forever one of his worst songs. Op asked for his best, why are you trynna ruin this thread?
