An artist as big as Drake co-signing the use of AI in music is honestly nasty work for the music industry. Especially when dropping bars about corporate puppets.
Don't even care about the morality of using the art after death. Posthumous music been done already thanks to greed, we don't need AI post-posthumous as well to be normalized by Drake.

It’s not like he tried to play it off as really pac or snoop and it’s not like he released it for profit

It's not about the money, it's about normalizing the use of AI for art.
It was an artistic choice, but one day using AI generated lyrics will also be an artistic choice. AI production. Full AI artists.
Drake being as big and powerful as he is shouldn't have been the one to open that pandora's box.

you need to look up what normalizing means
The rumor going around for that is FPS was sent to Kendrick to hop on. He agreed to do it, but he wanted Drake to do his verse first and then he was going to put his verse afterwards. My guess is Drake ain’t want to get washed on his own song. So the s*** fell through. Once again, just rumors. At this point, it doesn’t even matter. This is long overdue.
If Kendrick sent back his verse and Drake felt he got washed then why not redo his verse so it’s better?

Acting as if Drake co-signed fully generated AI music and treating the AI voice filter as if it is the same, (when its actually much more similar to something like an AI stem splitter) is ridiculous. Drake wrote and performed, all he did was add an effect that uses AI to achieve its effects. In this instance, I would put it on the same level as something like hard autotune if it was being ran through an AI model to achieve that sound. Intentional joke effect, not attempting to trick anyone, happens to use AI

Big facts.
You already know if Kanye/Kendrick had done this it would have been hailed as some miracle genre defining moment of experimentation.

Pandora's Box is already open in that regard. The Ghostwriter dude who made the AI Drake/The Weeknd song was able to get his music approved for Grammy nominations last year.
K-Thots still coping
K thots 😂😂😂
im just saying if the roles were reversed and it was Drake ducking s*** - there would have been a s***storm in the industry these mfrs would never shut up.
