I don't have an exact year but realistically it has to be between 2007-2008. Based on more known prominent recording eras for Detox + Lil Wayne line on Ransom. Plus Music Video for Replacement Girl / Young Money Signing. I have it in 2011 for my Club Paradise comp bc that's when the snippet heavily circulated, even though I believe it first got floated around in 2010.

@hasheet this seems to line up, I could be off. However given that Drake says no useable songs came out of it. This could be from a later Detox recording sessions. With this article in mind it still has to be between 2005-2008.

I’m more just basing it off of voice/flows. I don’t know his 2005-2008 material quite as well but to me it sounds more mature (voice/flow wise) than his 2005-2006ish song which is why I think it seems more 2007/2008ish to me
