well, presumably because the hired committee voted that way. and yes, there are allusions to there being more politics and shady s*** at play. but as far as i know, the public isn't privy to any of it? so all we can do is speculate.

so, if the committee comes to the conclusion of what they deem as "best", then what? the public doesn't agree and it's a sham? what's the fairest alternative? should there be a committee at all?

i don't have a strong opinion one way or the other i'm just asking questions.
