I understand what he means with rules when it comes to battle rapping
He’s saying that it comes to a point where the other person goes too “far” and then you don’t even want to rap anymore, you want to make it more physical and violent
But I think he’s saying the wrong words by saying that there are rules, he should just not say there are rules, he should just explain how he felt at the time

Damn i didnt realize 50 had such a big impact on Drake. That's wild. Surprised he didnt mention lauryn hill and andre 3000

How does it make no sense

    I’ll start here-Drake says:

-Pusha Won The Beef (by choice)

    -Wasn’t a crazy song (but couldn’t respond)

-Wasn’t out barred (when all Push does in his music is bars)

-Information is too shocking (puts out rumors about Kim and others, Push wife line makes zero sense)

-Wishing my friend has an illness died (brags about murder - mob ties - pretends that he follows the rules)

“ that s*** to me is not really wavy “ lol ok - huge hypocrite
Said there’s rules to this ( except for him when he mentioned Pusha wife)

-Talks about a phantom record he didn’t want to drop about a man who dissed his parents, Childhood, producer, BM, adidas deal (he may be telling truth here but he has no problem about some of the other disgusting s*** he says)

    • nobody cares about this guy (Push proceeds to outsell most of the rappers drake loves to jack influence from)

    • planned to reveal his son with adidas (but apparently his son wasn’t confirmed till a week before scorpion dropped?)

    • Biggest part is that he has a son (except the reason why push even made the record to begin with is because he believed Drake thought getting married was wack. Downplaying the fact that it was a p*** star and he grew up in a dysfunctional household)

    • They asked if he crossed the line. Drake says he has a point then goes to downplay it all and brings up his beef with Meek which he said they didn’t cross lines (which meek def said some crazy s*** lmfao) “that’s fine” “we all think differently” drake clearly didn’t think he crossed any line.

Literally that whole Pusha segment was full of double standards, lies and down playing that Push actually destroyed him and he brought it on himself. All of Drakes criticisms for Push apply more to himself than Pusha T.

That whole Pusha T segment made zero sense, PR f***ed with his head

  • Dec 26, 2019

drake drops ''real'' rap songs like 8 out of 10, do not disturb, is there more = drake is uninspired
drake drops hits everyone can vibe to like gods plan, nice for what = drake makes easy to consume generic garbage
drake experiments with different sounds and genres that not everyone can vibe to = culture falling out with drake
yall will never be satisfied with this man. just keep it movin' if you dont enjoy it, there are plenty who do

I think you’re literally interpreting all of this the wrong way on purpose to fit your narrative. Drake choose not to respond because he clearly saw that nothing that he could say or would have said would have done anything because Pusha out played him and dropped a song that had a big ass shock value. He’s right, nothing would have topped that. He fully understands that he had to take the L because there was nothing he could have said that could have matched that type of value. That’s your problem if you don’t think it exists.
Duppy Freestyle is a better song it terms of bars and beats, stop d*** riding SOA. Drake out barred him during the beef, SOA was just a better diss track because he 1 upped Drake. But as a song and bars, Drake was the better man. But none of that mattered to people, Pusha changed the narrative.
He literally said that the thing with Adidas was just a concept, like naming his potential shoes Adidon.
Also when did he put out rumors about Kim? Show me actually proof, not no conspiracy bullshit.
Pusha made the record because Drake thought marriage was/is wack? You’re literally making this up. Pusha went hard on Drake because Drake mention his wife. Pusha fist came at Drake because of the whole Bird Man and Wayne beef. Then went on to talk about the ghost writing s***.
He said that both Meek and him didn’t mention anything personal because that’s just how the beef went between them. Every beef is different. The “rules” that he keeps talking about is that at some point somebody feels like the other person went too far. Now that person wants to stop rapping and making it more physical and violent. Drake is just dumb by calling it rules, because it may be a rule that he might go by, but that doesn’t mean everybody goes by that “rule”.
Half of your arguments are just s*** you pull out of your ass and are factually incorrect. Like that poster said, you’re too invested into this s***. You’re too invested going into threads about Drake. It’s F***ing sad that Pusha will only be really remembered because he beefed with Drake and not his discog. I’m not saying his discog is trash or anything, it’s a really great body of work, but everytime people talk about him, Drake is always mentioned. Or every time something happens to Drake, y’all mention Pusha. Rent f***ing free in your heads. You spend hours of your day hating on somebody you have never met. Your goofy ass wasted 2 hours watching something you hate. “It’s all comedy too me” headass. I didn’t want to waste minutes of my day responding to your bullshit but it was too funny to ignore.

So there is a problem with listening to podcasts and long form interviews?

I gave the guy compliments in the first half of the interview earlier (his interview was redeeming , also I used to be a fan way back then)

You guys do understand what the purpose of a forum is, right?

    @999Wrld
Used to be a fan, and I do enjoy long form content. This is a forum, drake is the most popular artist in this decade. Of course I want to hear what one of the most influential people in rap have to say
