song that’s sampled on Fair Trade is better than any song on the album tho
Best song for me
carti not really saying much at all on there, but completely sets the chaotic and relentless mood of that track. i love it
exactly
he used him perfectly
carti on his bag tbh
What’s sampled?

DONDA a solid 8.5/10 for me, It's amazing musically but some of the verses on this album were meh outside of a few guest verse, the version of TTV on the album should've been replaced with the leaked one. This album being censored (even if it's a psuedo-gospel album) kinda ruined the listening experience for me a bit and the only song I'll go back to is Off The Grid.
Certified Lover Boy 9/10 (first listen) I had low expectations for this album, so it might be the reason for the rating but this album sounds like Drake is actually trying musically instead of throwing a bunch of loosies, hits and throwaways together for first week numbers.
I didn't mind the love songs cuz it's the theme of the album but I really enjoyed Get Along Better, also the production was fye on some parts of this album such as No Friends In The Industry for example. I might have to give this another spin to hear the verses again but overall this album is nice.
CLB has been out for 11 hours. You've probably heard it three times at most. Rating an album you might forget about in a week is crazy lol
*heaven or hell

I knew this album was hella average when at the 2nd listen I'm itching to turn the s*** off and play something else, I never felt this before with a drake album other than scorpion
I'm sayin! I played IYRTITL for like a month straight, same w Take Care, mostly true w NWTS. Hell even Views and More Life got more spins from me than I can already tell this will
few understand.
85% of CLB was full of fillers, mediocre beats, generic flows and corny bars, Kanye's 'Donda' demolished Drake's album, Drake been uninspired for years, still cant believe how he had the confident to release this mid album, Naruto had less fillers than CLB
Drake stans were going ham in the donda thread
Twitter will largely give you the same "meh" impression
Tell the Vision the only song I’d cut from Donda

Lmao, it's clear that Drake and Kanye are way different nowadays, Drake keeps making tracks using the same formula and Kanye makes these sometimes artsy tracks that may go for too long, or sound very weird.
Now I'm listening to CLB and imho it's not like one dude is bad and the other is good, but they are way different artists. Like on Drake album I got a Drake fix in the first 2 songs, and on Kanye album it's hard to get Kanye fix as he tries new things all the time.
Drake could have blew Kanye out the water if he had 13 concise songs that were more of the same but Interesting. But instead he got 5/21 songs that are decent
*heaven or hell
Imagine not punching a wall when the choir comes in
all they do is post fake s*** about kim
remember the drake f***ed kim narrative they pushed so hard during scorpion
