VeggieKubernetes4th play so far for me today, and I’m not usually a fan of the slow drake songs but this all slaps. Literally not a single skip.
Most of my favorite albums like NWTS, WLR, I hated on the first listen but this really clicked
I really like CLB tho. It's just a way different album. Cant really compare it to Donda. It's way slower (which isnt necessarily a bad thing)

Agree. Both DONDA and CLB are basically an alley oop to Kendrick.
Though, there is nothing on CLB that even comes close to Come to Life and that’s Kanye solo.

Kanye has always tried new stuff while Drake, for better or worse stays with his same formula.

Since CLB came out later than expected I had to go to bed, so listening today after work. First two tracks were fire tho imo
Still need to sit with Donda more, but initial thoughts are there’s some great tracks, moments, and ideas but a lot that weren’t really fleshed out or became monotonous

He was trying a lot of stuff right after tho. Views and the singles surrounding it had all types of Drake
You might got a point though. I feel like it challenged his pride in a bad way. Bro should have doubled down and let james fauntleroy write his songs 😂

CLB felt like way more of a drag and struggle to finish considering donda is 23 mins longer.
I went into CLB open minded as possible, but that s*** was straight up boring. I def think it’s drakes worst project yet
