I have gripes with both albums.

Donda challenged me more as a listener and had higher highs to me than CLB but made some really weird choices that did not work (the pop smoke feature and what not really stand out for the wrong reasons IMO)

CLB was a safer lesson and had Drake playing to his strengths and typical subject matter but damn this album somehow felt like a chore to get through even though it was shorter.

These albums really reflect what’s good and bad about these artists lol
