I might agree to that but I think Wayne is more popular with them folks. It gets different because Wayne's popularity stretches beyond 4 decades

Name the songs you think that older white audiences know by Lil Wayne

Last 5x superbowls were Usher, Rihanna, Weeknd, Aftermath, Shakira. Only one you can argue white america not knowing their stuff is Shakira because of the language barrier

If anyone says Wayne’s music (not celebrity) is more known by old white America than those 6 artists, they are delusional

Is there a version of Drake we haven’t heard that could be likely? Curious based on the discourse

i'm expecting FATD except sadder and less confident, with a few scary hours 3 esque songs that are also sadder and less confident.

sounds like i'm preemptively trashing whatever his next album is, but i do have an appreciation for FATD/SH3 so i think it could be pretty good. it'll be interesting at least.

Memphis is not a big city, city yes but big no.

I've lived and around Memphis for 10 years

But in terms of influence and dominance, Memphis wasn't one of his biggest markets. My people from around that way play him the same

I didn't say big city bruh. I said blackest city

Yeah, but the population there and their interest in Drake was never one that could be named with higher performing cities. Basically what I'm saying is Memphis didn't/doesn't have a concerning customer base for Drake, so just looking at the location wouldn't be sufficient imo
