Too me where Jack’s fumbling is that he’s trying to posture himself as “Big Sean for City Girls fans” when in reality he could be a mainstream Mac Miller type - can make party tracks but can also drop loosies over flylo type beats etc.. he brought Mavi on tour w him its not even like he’s oblivious to that pathway as an option

Oh wow. Haven't read the thread so I didn't know. I mean, there's a clear gap in quality but that's just Drake being so good at it - Jack did fine in my eyes. His flow is decent and the pen game wasn't that bad. Not my favorite song of his but I don't think it's poor

Not true. This was 2015 before streaming took off so people were more likely to listen to album cuts, especially from the biggest rapper
