Outside of him playing the victim on the Fighting Irish Freestyle which I didn’t like, the rapping and wordplay on it was amazing. If something like that would’ve came out before the battle it would’ve gotten a lot more praise.

Kendrick’s rapping versatility shown in the battle and on the new album with all the different cadences and styles kind of exposed drake’s lack of versatility as a rapper.

I don’t want Drake trying to be all extra like Kendrick with his rapping and his voice but I do wanna see him at least challenge himself more as a rapper and try new things with his content and go back to a more out of the box production like he did on NWTS.

I want to see him make a good comeback which I think he will at some point.
