WOULDA HAD NO CHANCE BACK IN THE WHEN I WAS ON THE COME UP
No drama you know I got bands....
was Brian Steel even about Brian Steel? sounds like he was just rapping about being at the club
Gimme A Hug is the best Drake’s sounded on here so far, but something feels off about it

when you start hating on When He's Gone and Greedy, imma have to ban you myself

i think it’s the autotune. i don’t like how he’s used it this decade. he used to use it differently.

when, not if?? are they bad??
i’ll only hate on Greedy if it doesn’t end with the album title
Raining in Houston is nice chill Drake. this is what i like from him.

my only issue with it is that weird “uoh-yuh” slurred ad lib he does nowadays

I was just prejudging based off my vague memories of your other reactions but tbf you did like Spider-Man Superman & Raining In Houston.
I found that first 3 track run of CN TOWER > MOTH BALLS > SOMETHING ABOUT YOU... really growed on me as time went on

album title / roll credits reference happens in track 3 (something about you)

for reference, my favorite Drake is the 2014 style where he would slow the song down and start singing over it like Sweeterman

so everything after is just bonus tracks?
Lasers is nice
i completely understand the criticisms of this album being labeled a collab album but feeling more like a Drake solo album that happens to have a lot of PND features
Meet Your Padre cannot be serious
you just know he met some latina woman in Miami who glazed this in the studio and he felt he had to include it

Drake gets greedy in the middle but I'd like to think the majority of it is pretty collaby, I mean it does start / end with the vibe.

there are 6 solo Drake songs and 1 (very short) solo PND song, and the songs with both of them are very clearly majority Drake vocals
this is about as much of a collab album as Her Loss was

⁉️
Drake is crazy for making Nokia after dropping iLoveMakonnen for being on this exact wave a decade ago

ahh idk if Deeper is necessarily a short song.
I'm not disagreeing that it's Drake centric, I'm just disagreeing with it being primarily solo vibes. Maybe it's because I don't revisit the solo Drake songs that much but I personally felt satisfied with it being seen as a collab album.. Final like 7 songs they're both comfortably on (not to say Drake might not have longer parts)

there’s no chance this is what y’all have been hyping up for months right?? i get why y’all rallied behind this, as it’s the closest thing to a “hit” on paper, but none of the elements of this song mesh together. this is not an enjoyable experience. i’d probably take a water break and leave the dance floor if i heard this at the club.
