The other day you were saying THG was a fake insider tho. Where that energy at now. 👀
He is a fake insider. What now?
Ak was saying on his stream that Drake won't have his name on the album...That this is a PND project and Drake is featured on songs. Releasing on Sony label.

Not having his name on it feels like a legal loophole to not have it get taken by UMG
Just in time for Europe leg 🤫🤫
Oh my goodness

definitely. also so he won’t catch the heat when this s*** barely hit 200k first week
He can still release if it’s the joint album. If it’s credited as Partys album with Drake as feature guest and not joint artist UMG wouldn’t really have much to do with it. Party is under a different entity and just because of the lawsuit UMG can’t stop Drake from releasing. They can step on his solo releases and not promo at all but nothing contractually would stop him from being able to drop.
That isn't true for a variety of reasons, with the main one being that they literally have to sign off on anything that is released by an artist signed to them. That's how major labels work. They may not have control over "when" something is released by a major act like Drake, but they surely do have control over "if" something is. There's a huge difference. We literally just saw Drake try to free drop the 100 gigs tracks to avoid the chart flops that were to follow because he doesn't have Universal's support anymore. They flagged the tracks everywhere then they proceeded to force him to put the tracks on streaming anyway. He had no control over that.
Plus, even if he could, Drake isn't releasing a random "collab" project he can't have count towards his current Universal deal. It makes zero business sense. Drake is a Universal artist and his solo work has nothing to do with his separate OVO/Sony deal.
Yerr just checking in

This makes no sense. If he still owes UMG an album, why not just give them this album and be done with the deal?
And he doesn't need to drop an album right now. If he thinks he can get a win with his lawsuit and forfeit having to give UMG that last album then why not just wait till that whole thing is over?
Either way, if this is true then he's shooting himself in the foot. The album will perform terribly and he might as well just drop the album via UMG, fulfill his contract and know he's done with them and is free to drop his next solo album however he wants.

I’m thinking UMG wants a solo not collab album to fulfill his contract

Also won’t count to drake discography so first week numbers won’t technically matter. Kbots will still say stuff tho
