Weeks ago, I suggested the album would drop on the 15th because of the US Presidential elections and because Party's tour would be over on the 6th of November and Drake would want him around to finalize certain aspects of the album before dropped. I also suggested that dropping on the 8th was too close to the aftermath of the election. The 15th is also the 13th anniversary of Take Care. It's the perfect date to drop.

My bet is Party has some (background/additional) vocals to add to some tracks, they need to record the Table for One episode and the album needs to get uploaded to DSPs. I locked in November 15 weeks ago and I'm sticking to it.

Agreed. Just in the past they’ve taken forever on “finishing touches” lol

Also curious what type of “rollout” thing they do. Prob nothing besides announce cover and tracklist which I’m fine with

It's 100% in Drake/PND's characters to both delay this album as much as they can, just to f*** with The Weeknd's album. If they drop within 2~ weeks of The Weeknd, they'll kill a LOT of his hype.

ehh the movie is some indie Uncut Gems type s*** though, it's gonna be small scale. I think it's also clear the film will be coming out a while after the album drops

I think it's pretty much done. As for a rollout, one isn't really needed. Just drop cover, announce album title and release tracklist. The music being great is all they need to worry about.
