BabaláwoTake Care was well received. People weren’t calling it a classic until after Views dropped though. It was like overnight, because Views was hyped up so much, (amazing marketing), it didn’t live up to the hype a lot of people. People started saying Will Drake ever have a classic and boom next day you know Take Care is Drake’s classic because people felt he wouldn’t be able to make one.
According to Metacritic, Take Care was the ninth-highest-ranked album in year-end top 10 lists by music critics, based on 135 lists.

No coincidence since IYRTITL (which yea, marked a change but still had classics like Jungle) that there began to be a shift (imo, was slow cause Views was very successful)

Whether whomever listens is not a factor because of you're already susceptible to those aforementioned emotions you probably only listening because it's the popular thing
