    Man Im cooked aren't I

Tough buckets, I couldn't imagine not knowing the regional onomatopoeias of my people. From the "bops" to the " boops" to the "bitch" and eventually the ever so coveted "b"

    Happy Black History Month

My fav flow from drake the entire album, somebody loves me is criminally underrated right now

  • notbrock

Is he trying to make fun of Kendrick for being “lyrical”?

He's saying the rappers trying to take his spot not ready to meet the demands of the people. They want something to cut up to 💃🏽

I love how him and Party both say that "TURN UP ANOTHER NIGHT" line the same way. Weird way of pronouncing it that just flows so well.

genuinely happy for the people that like this yall eating but after doing the car test it’s still not hittin, i don’t think this project is for me

played some older rnb drake cuts and the drop in quality is night and day imo

i was just wondering like how did we go from star67, preach, wednesday night interlude, days in the east, trust issues, etc to this

idk man for me personally he just sounded livelier/hungrier/more passionate in songs like that and also i feel like they were even engineered better

id like to think im not the only one that feels this way, just my two cents

    You have two paths forward.

    1) enjoy the classics. You are a fan who liked the older Drake and that's okay, as you said, you connect with the voice of the past and the engineering behind the albums. This was less 40 than most projects we're used to. You can't blame Drake, you can't blame 40. His health isn't there, and he's built up a whole gang of folks to mix/engineer his stuff, but they aren't 40. This is continuing on the path you're on, accepting that this album isn't for you.

    2) take a week, two, or a month. Maybe it's the time in your life, your energy isn't aligned with what's on this album right now, but that doesn't mean it can't be. Re-visit it in when the season changes, maybe throw it on in the car on a late night drive, or a sunset ride home from work. Something might click again, and you'll connect with what others are hearing. Drake has grown, just like you have, and maybe your energies will realign.

🧘 May you be free from suffering
