In a world where the UMG battle not happening and the kendrick beef never happened, Nokia would be Nice for What/In My Feelings level huge
and it still should
I do need an album of Nokias though
I think that might be the ultimate path to getting back to his earlier success. A fun off the wall album with quirky production and him spitting raps over it. Would be the s***.

I don’t wanna get too deep into it, so I won’t.
But a change in the formula would help him out greatly and I saw a spark in Nokia. Like a genuine spark. I would love to see him hone that energy.
Drake is like the POWER TV show: you know what you're gonna get for the most part, for better or for worse.
I have my issues with the album, but it’s the closest we’ve gotten to a concise 100% focused Drake album since NWTS.
I was one of the few when the album dropped actually commending him for taking an artistic risk even though he was getting BERATED over it.
Same it genuinely surprised me that he set out to make an album focused on just one sound, a dance album of all things, with only 12 tracks. I never thought we’d get a concise album from him again. Beautiful tribute to Virgil too.
$$$ seems to be continuing the trend of largely focusing on one sound—dark ethereal R&B this time—with only a couple rap tracks as caveats

I’m just guessing. I’ve been working too much to listen full through enough. I’m coming off top with 8

Drake said his true feelings on Kendrick in his 2019 Elliott and B Dot interview. Its respect between them as far as the music s*** goes, at least pre beef there was
lol let’s even take it as recent as FATD, he even reached out to kendrick to collab. The jealousy was always one way
