But if it’s rapping about flipping bricks constantly it’s exciting to you nerds.
A man talking about his love life, family, friends, betrayals and rise to the top. Nah
I like when an artist keep making the same great music I like them for. Too many artists fail to repeat their success of their first project/album. Too many does some bullshit, instead of just making the music people like them for. Their sound.
He’s been making music about the same s*** since day one.
When it comes to content if you’ve heard one drake album you’ve heard them all.
Kind of like every rapper no? Lol

And not to mention has a lot of different styles and approaches to making records.
I never hear people put this pressure to have 1000 topics on their favourite gangsta rappers. It’s interesting
Simply not possible to say until CLB drops. People said the same after More Life and Scorpion deaded that. His streaming numbers this year remain great.
This year does seem to me he has lost a bit of the stimulus package effect when an artist gets his feature, but even then its been a mixed bag not and really indicative that he's losing any star power. I also do feel there was a little bit of excuses for DLDT FW performance, but it's just not meaningful enough data until we see FW sales of CLB.
(strictly talking about sales / impact - not quality of music)
CLB has the potential to be great but lets not act like Scorpion was it please

nah im strictly talking sales & impact, nothing to do with quality. No way you'll ever find me justifying that trash

Don't you know? Rapping about selling coke that you never sold for 25 years is perfectly okay.
Kind of like every rapper no? Lol
02Shaq is a f***ing weirdo who never misses an opportunity to jump into threads criticizing Drake. Nothing he says about anything is valid.

Every rapper in the history of rap music has a topic or a set of topics they rap about and they never drift from that. Only idiots think Drake should be treated differently in that regard. Anyone who doesn't like his music should f*** off and go listen to someone else. It ain't that hard.
Y'all really entertaining this dummy thread by this idiot OP like we haven't seen enough stupid threads like this same one for the last 10 years.
Seen the same exact thread around More Life drop
Then 2018 happened to be his best year ever lmaaoo
I was actually thinking about this today
Particularly about his waning influence amongst the younger gen z population who’s fav artists are Juice WRLD, Laroi, etc
Juice wrld is dead bro lol
Drakes gonna be like Jay-Z
Always relevant when they drop, not on the mind of the younger generation.
He won’t really “fall off” per se
7 songs in the Top 10 with only features and a throwaway project of leaks this year

Except for now, Drake is still on everyone's mind. His numbers are a great reflection of that.

The most streamed act of the year in the US and the second most-consumed act of the year in the US (only got beat by Taylor because she released 2 albums).
Most consumed act in the US from 2015-2018.
Second most-consumed act in the US in 2019 and 2020.

Right now yeah, but there’s no telling where he’s gonna be after CLB
Y’all arguing amongst yourselves but @op has yet to come back and answer any quotes
He seems more inspired than ever imo, everything been sounding fresh since War last year
Right now yeah, but there’s no telling where he’s gonna be after CLB
I don't think he's losing the young people crowd anytime soon. He's only 34. He's not 50.
Yall say the same s*** every year
