It really blows my mind sometimes.

I go on the gram. It's still nothing but Drake all on the timeline. The girls The dudes. Young old white black EVERYBODY.

You think we will ever see a rap artist have it on absolute smash like this ever again?

That Carti album was a real eye opener for me man. All this hype praise and damn near idol worship for this dude and he barely putting up year 15 post loss Drake numbers.

Then when I go on the net it's still nothing but Drake. People bumping old Drakes song over Carti's new s***. I will give him credit tho I'm seeing a couple girls bumping Fine S***.

That song is the one. All these years I never seen the baddies doing they thing to Carti songs like that

  • No. No rapper will do what he has been doing for 16 years straight. The records won't be broken.

The fact that year 15 music is still resonating harder with the audience than the current super stars is what's crazy to me

Drake can go for 20. Nobody currently in the mainstream f***ing with him.

It's to the point that I bet even if he stopped making music. He would still out stream everyone

  • From Drake to Doechii

Yup, pretty much. We saw it last year. He was the most streamed rapper in every single month even though the so-called ''elimination'' happened.

Flavours of the months can appear, some rappers can reach their commercial peak by dubious methods but there will always be one constant. Drake will be there.

Of course. Probably even bigger as the world connects more and more online.

  • unlikely but maybe

there will be someone as talented as drake eventually but who knows if it will be while hip hop is still what the major labels want to push

  • Mr Motion

Of course. Probably even bigger as the world connects more and more online.

when the world connects more ? you should be watching some more news, aint happening

  • It'll never happen again.

  • Prez 💎

    yes.

from a human perspective there will always be a new artist who comes around and captivates the nation/world through their talent.

the only reason to think otherwise would be due to technological changes that prevent widespread appeal by segmenting the market. but personally I don't think this will stop future superstars from rising to past levels.

  • Yes 100% and it’s gonna be outdone
