TLDR: Drake needs to address Kendrick's colonizer claims and call out the double standards regarding Tupac, who Kendrick idolizes but whose career parallels Drake's. To win a potential beef, Drake should emphasize Kendrick's hypocrisy in idolizing Tupac, who also had an actor-turned-rapper background and a complicated relationship with the west coast. Kendrick’s recent moves into pop music and TikTok trends, as well as his lack of proof for his accusations against Drake, should be highlighted. Drake should focus on his longstanding impact on pop culture, Kendrick's perceived jealousy, and his attempts to rewrite history. A well-delivered response could force Kendrick to address these points and possibly reveal any industry plots against Drake.
If Drake does ever reignite the beef ( I hope he does he’s been out rapping Kendrick and nobody will give him his props) he’s really going to need a good angle to win it. A lot of the beef has been narrative and he’ll need a strong one to win and comeback.
I feel like it should be Tupac’s ring, there was (false) rumor he was dropping with the ring as the cover and i feel like it holds a lot of significance to the beef and to both of them. Kendrick has been leaning very hard into this whole west coast unity thing and is going for more pop tiktok esque music rather than rapping.
He’s also mentioned Pac a lot during the beef and even changed the lyrics asking for the ring back on stage. Drakes angle needs to be basically be that Tupac is living through him and that everything Kendrick says he hates about Drake he idolizes in tupac and is a hypocrite, people hate Drake for being an actor and see him rapping as another character, may or may not be true for Aubrey but it was for Tupac, Kenny calls him a colonizer but the man he idolizes and is a legend where’s he’s from isn’t even from over there and co-opted different parts of what he saw into his character.
People forget Pac was literally born and partially raised in New York and basically grew up on the east coast , he really only was in Cali for the short time he spent making music before he was killed. Drake is just if Tupac lived and Kendrick hates that. Throw in some Micheal Jackson bars (false rumors) and call it a day, call Kendrick desperate and a hypocrite, also make sure to mention how never actually addressed or provided proof of anything. You could go for the dv angle again especially with him having dr Dre up there and Kendrick glorifying people who actually did things he falsely accused Drake of and told him to die for but I think the main focus should be on Kendrick’s hypocrisy when it comes to his “culture” claims.
Drake is and has been a pop culture icon for like 10 years and has either invented or popularized dozens of euphemisms, popularized many different styles of music and arguably dropped one of the most impactful diss records ever. (Being “on the clock” was not a thing in hip hip until Drake dropped back to back I will die on this hill) he should talk about Kendrick’s (perceived) jealousy and him trying to rewrite the last 10 years with lies at the last minute, and that no matter what he drops and tries to turn people against him he doesn’t have drake discography or career and Grammys and Pulitzers can’t imitate songs people actually know.
I Feel like if he delivers it the right way it’ll work as it’s all true. And would be sort of a gotcha on Kendrick who’s usually consider the more introspective of the two, idk sort of long winded but I could see it,if he does he should have multiple tracks in store as a given at least 5-6 but I feel like it’s deep enough and he’s creative enough to where even if he just reiterated the same point in 5 songs it’d be fine since again it’s all facts and will force Kendrick to address it, some people seem to think it was a coordinated attempt by the industry and others to eliminate him which has some plausibility to it, if there’s truth to that he knows of he should also speak on it
love a good essay post
From the battle scars obviously
I'm sure he's doing just fine. He's f***ing a fresh turned 18 year old while you worry

Y'all drake stans done lost it
I agree @op if there's anything Drake can do in this beef that'll really get all the hip hop fans and rappers back on his side, is diss the s*** out of 2pac even more
you are also hella wrong about your 2pac facts but go off king. mans was in high school when he moved to marin city
he was 17 when he moved and died at 25, most of his life was in the east coast and by that age usually most of ur identity is already formed
as a Mid Kenny Fan (not a huge one not a small one) I hope that Mr. ChampagnePapi doesn't b****slap Mr. Morale when they see each other face to face, please we should abstrain from violence I don't want my 120 pound lil boy to be humiliated. I was so relieved when Mr. Cole was around Mr. Morale and saved him from Sean Combs but I guess that's not happening anymore, and what if 2Teez is absent? Kendrick is 5"2 (not good) Drake you shouldn't try to harm my savior he has a stature of 13 yo Argentinian teenager, lets just be conscious and overcome generational trauma together
