Does nobody else find it very suspicious how quiet and cautious Drake is being right now? I had originally assumed that Drake had no idea what was happening before or during his performance at Astroworld. The only thing that’s been troubling me about it is the footage of Drake performing while people are climbing on the ambulance golf cart. I understand how hard it is for a performer to know what’s going on in the crowd, with all the stage effects going on, but it’s pretty hard to believe Drake didn’t see people dancing on a vehicle with flashing red and blue lights in the crowd. As a Drake Stan it would have been nice to see him make a bit more of an effort to reach out to the fans when he saw that occurring.

I know it’s a huge legal battle and Drake can’t comment too much on the incident, but I feel like if he just gave his condolences and waited for the legal battle I would believe that he genuinely didn’t know what was happening during his performance. But the fact that he’s been silent and now deleting his Astroworld post on Instagram, seems very suspicious and guilty to me. Anyone else?

You see how everyone is ragging on Travis right now? Drake doesn’t need anything near that

  • Trav and his team really should have had more control on their situation and let Drake in on everything going on. I assume Drake is still in mourning and everyone has a different process for that

He’s gotta plead ignorance for legal safety so no way he makes a comment

See if drake didn’t perform at Astroworld I would understand the silence. He’s never been one to comment on controversial situations and I don’t blame him for that. Why involve yourself when you don’t have to. But the fact that he was performing at a show where fans lost their life, some of those fans being his own, I feel like he owes a condolences post at the very least and I feel like the fact that he’s hiding behind lawyers so carefully right now shows that he feels some sort of guilt or fear of getting major backlash.

He performed on Travis's set, him not saying ANYTHING is an eyesore.

Who honestly really gives a f*** about what Drake has to say about this incident? What, just to show everybody that he cares and is mourning?

  • Nov 9, 2021

A public statement from Drake does absolutely nothing for the situation

No one put any statements about anything form here on out

The thing about Trav in this scenario is that he:
Saw someone pass out first hand.
The crowd had gotten his attention to stop the show multiple times.
Saw the ambulance enter the crowd.
And this is the most important part, he would have not been in touch w/ the production team directly.

  • Nov 9, 2021

In your post, you're already assigning him blame, because literally 20 seconds into him being brought out he didn't say stop the show. Even though it's not his show, he wouldn't have known why the ambulance was there, he had no prior knowledge of what was happening AND the prod team probably didn't tell him anything.

Him removing the pics is probably an indication that a statement is coming. But from posts like this, I can already tell that the response online may become cancerous. So in this time of tragedy, it's time to buckle up.
