Canopy Growth is the world's largest cannabis company and it's based in Canada. Perfect fit if you ask me.

But its not a bad thing, he doesnt have to smoke to extend his brand into the world of marijuana.

“Everything he touches has a business purpose behind it. Drake is about what’s cool, what’s hip, what’s out there. He has this ability, as his business, to be in front of every trend over the past 10 years.”
“His authenticity is unlike any other of a celebrity we’ve seen today,” Yorke said. “Drake knows how to create the business solution that creates the most reach.”

Drake stimulus infiltrates another industry
Looks like dude was right
Okay I don't have a way to officially source this. The only way I can really vouch for this is Drake's recent Instagram photos with Diddy.
Someone I know that works with Canopy Growth (one of Canada's largest cannabis producers) says they were approached by people from 'some rappers' management teams. My friend is a young guy and looked into the affiliates, and saw the people they were affiliated to Drake and Diddy.
I don't know the official word, but this sort of makes sense. Cannibis will be legalized in July 2018 in Canada. Also Constellation Brands Inc. (who distribute Corona in the U.S.) purchased a large stake in Canopy Growth. It seems like Canopy Growth could be the source to approach for making cannabis infused drinks.
Take this with a grain of salt though, let's see what plays out next year. It would be a smart business move if the U.S. ever legalizes marijuana. The company would be set up and easily deploy-able in the states using Canada as a test market.

Really dope move as more info has come out. Hope they move to be more wellness company than recreational.
Interested in seeing what comes next in the following weeks when they make more announcements. I believe they should make more announcements before the year ends or before the end of January 2020. The former CEO of Canopy Group was asked about this deal and he said deals this big usually take about 18-20 months to finalize so this has probably been in the works for some time now.
Damn this s*** all over the news, they gonna be a publicly traded company? Might have to buy some stocks
