Two things can be true. I don't think Drake ever stops recording music.

For instance, with Views, by 2014 when he announced the album title, he'd recorded some songs but abandoned the project to focus on making IYRTITL/WATTBA before resuming work on Views in late 2015/early 2016 where he made most of the songs that ended up making the album.

I believe that's what happened with For All the Dogs. Probably made some songs after Her Loss was done but the bulk of the album was made from June till now. Hopefully he confirms it one day.

Yeah I mean whatever least we got a date for now. Hopefully get 20+ songs
