Dr Dre’s presence among young music fans, or rather lack of presence, is strong evidence that not putting your music on streaming actually Hurts your bottom line rather than helps it. dr dre has a wayyy weaker legacy among my generation than he should have and that’s because he has no visibility on streaming platforms. the original chronic was never even on spotify. kids don’t know about him like they know snoop, 2pac, eminem.

Yeah but as people have said some people age, but some people GROW OLD. Like I feel like somewhat of Dre's mindset is still a little in the past. Snoop too. Like there's more value in having your music in constant rotation than turning it into an NFT (which I bet in their minds is equivalent to a CD) to be sold as an individual unit. S*** sucks, hope they change course soon and we can have the classics back.

Yeah that's cringiest thing is they are behind the times on the fact that everybody else has figured out this whole NFT situation is bunk and basically a neo-pyramid scheme. Although watching Logan Paul lost like 600k on an NFT he bought gave me a little bit of Schadenfreude
