And before you dispute that, TDE had the Black Panther soundtrack and a massively successful label tour that year. Dreamville wasn’t f***ing with them at that time.

The last year TDE ran anything was 2018. That's when DAMN. and CTRL dropped. 2018 was a dead year for TDE because that Black Panther soundtrack didn't do s***, meanwhile, Cole, Cozz, Bad and JID all dropped solid albums that year.

As a label, in 2018, Dreamville was already the clear favorite.
