Bandana was overhyped, album was just okay
Piñata is much much better
tbh theres numerous tracks on both I don't really like the production on but the highs are ridiculously high on both
i’m always amazed by people who look up to celebrities as moral compasses
people that say tame impala are obscure should be shot in the face
Being shot for it is the hot take
When we speak on female artists in the rap medium, there should only be one name that comes to mind & that's Lauryn Hill.
Niggas be tryna sound fancy by slandering mcdonalds
Its trash straight up. Im not above eating cheap fast food but McDonalds is dookie water
i’m always amazed by people who look up to celebrities as moral compasses
Milennials wont like this one

Wouldn’t really say that but more like living vicariously through them....
Lowkey I was guilty of this in the past

Millennials are f***ing dorks
Go eat your avocado toast and retweet Joe Biden tweets
it must suck for celebs on twitter who just want to say some random s*** and their replies just get raped with gofundme's and random ass causes. Like just let me tell u how my burrito tasted god damn
Tame Impala, Travis Scott, The Weeknd etc who are all super popular get overhated on here. They have a fanbase for a reason tbh they make good music
nicki minaj booty fake af
You still crackin a nut off in it if given the chance so do it really matter?

let's take say 10 artists who are categorized as hyperpop artists:
Glaive
8485
blackwinterwells
SOPHIE
ericdoa
quinn
kuru
kurtains
saturn
sebii
none of these people make the same type of music, and all of them vary:
Glaive and Ericdoa are simply making pop music, 8485 is making emo, indie type stuff and synth pop (her last EP completely tears down the hyperpop wall), Wells makes cloud rap for the most part (she can do any genre though), sebii, saturn and kuru both mainly rap, SOPHIE was in her own lane, etc.
a genre to me has to have some sort of ins and outs on how to make it--hyperpop doesn't have that, at least yet. if there is one sound at all, it's the loud, aggressive 100 gecs type sound that many people been inspired by since they blew up (aldn, elyotto, CMTEN, Glitch Gum etc.). but yet there's still so many artists who are called hyperpop, who don't make this type of stuff at all (like quinn and kurtains).
hell, even people like A.G. Cook consider what Uzi has been making (Futsal Shuffle) to be hyperpop, and many fans call Trippie Redd's recent stuff to be it as well. it's just so convoluted it's insane, I don't really see how it is one atm.
Here's a real hot take that some of you just need to accept:
KTT2 is not a the "hot, trendy, hip" website that KTT1 was (even though I barely was on there for long).
Majority of this sites users are now in their 20's and even 30's and we don't aren't getting new members simply because this isn't the place that attracts the new generation...
We took an average last year and it was like the average age of users on this site was 23.5 years old. Which is fine, but this is just something that people need to accept I feel like
You shouldn't try to force yourself to "be in touch" with whatever is on the billboards when you're busy living a life parallel to your computer, instead of ON the computer or phone like you were a decade ago.

Piñata whole sound and aesthetic was very very special, and Freddie and the features spazzed on every song
On Bandana it always feels like something is missing besides some exceptions. The exceptions were really great tho
Wouldn’t really say that but more like living vicariously through them....
Lowkey I was guilty of this in the past
me too but i was a lot younger than
not saying all celebrities are bad people ofc i’m sure a lot l like are great
just dont be shocked yk
Or maybe because hip hop actually is starting to fall off and the mainstream is being infested with fast food music
f*** the mainstream
we’re a dedicated music forum, we’re here to discuss the cutting edge of music, the best of the best. If the music in the mainstream is s*** then why do we still entertain it, there’s droves of music we can go into that is amazing but not popular
