What’s your favorite creations / experiments in the kitchen? Snacks, meals, guilty pleasures, odd pairings - anything goes
I was inspired just now after having the most mediocre sausage and pepper roll after work , so I pillaged my fridge
I fried a couple slices of turkey up in a pan with olive oil and some special herbs and spices along with 3 pepperonis
melted a mix of pepper jack n swiss over top of those and crisped some prosciutto in the air fryer along w 2 pieces of sourdough
had maybe a tbsp of basil pesto left , added a little mayo and oil to the jar and shook it up, spread it on the toast and compiled my sandwich
Cut the sandwich in half and plated it and had some fig jam on the side
good money
Just some random s*** in the kitchen thrown together but came together nicely
Another bomb is taking a tortilla and making a chocolate chip / peanut butter quesadilla, top w powdered sugar and a sliced banana
steak egg with fries and some hot sauce you can even put it in a bread to make as a sandwich

Oh you a real eater

We locked in now!
I just had a butterbean & bacon pasta
fried up the 'con with some onions & garlic with some oregano
Got some butter beans, mashed half of them in a pestle & mortar with some melted butter
Till they were fine & slimey, then I crushed the other half
Added them ontop of the 'con in the wok
Let it chill for a lil then hit it with some chedda' and some mo' herbs
Had some some campanelle pasta, added some corn to that pot as it was 3/4 done
Drained it but kept a bit of that P juice
added the pasta & corn to the wok & stirred it up like m'fing coffee, turned the heat down
then added some spinach on top to cook with the residual heat
Ate one portion, save two for the rest of the weekend
& that's how a nigga prep a meal
Make sure to get a crusty bread for this. Toasted

The trick to banana bread imo is to store it in the fridge uncovered. The top dries out and the moist interior chills. Hot banana bread is mid by comparison

another simple combo that’s been hitting lately
english muffin, lightly toasted w olive oil
add tomato sauce (rao’s spicy arrabiatta go crazy)
add szning
shredded mozz
turkey pepperoni
pop that joint back in the air fryer til the cheese melts and pepperoni crisps up
Trader Joe’s hummus is pretty damn good. I get their roasted tomato and Parmesan focaccia and pan fry some chicken thighs (marinate chicken for 3 hours, seasoned with garam masala, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, touch of roasted tomato paste).
Squeeze some lime over the chicken after done, top the chicken with pickles, hummus, crunchy chilli onion and make a wrap with the focaccia (after baking it in the oven for 10-15 mins). Tastes amazing and super easy

I love their fried rice with tofu
Scramble an egg in it, add a little soy sauce or rice vinegar and top wit furikake and sometimes an avocado
