i was just going off that one era. bowie had some good music out by the late 60s but i lowkey see him as the next generation. everything the man who sold the world era onwards is from when i'm really heavy into bowie's music

lucidyes at their peak were unstoppable
yes, genesis, pink floyd, king crimson, jethro tull all released 3+ 10/10 albums in the 70s, prog went crazy for a while

i prefer american music from that time tbh
it's not a competition lol. there's some great US music from that era. i don't think us rock was better in 65 tho tbh
