Why y’all hating on OP. Even though he dropped out he put in the work and has a career at a young age??
I’m learning Air Conditioning Technology. I will always have a job and I will always have money. Humans will always need air conditioning and refrigeration 🤷🏾♂️
sound logic
“ An HVAC Technician with mid-career experience which includes employees with 5 to 10 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of $45,000 based on 773 salaries.”
I dunno if that’s the same number you saw but you can literally make that much waiting tables w tips at a $$-$$$$ restaurant tbh.
Anyone in the field will tell you that number is nonsense. That’s an beginner’s salary.
That’s the average. With experience + commission you will earn more. I’ve asked ppl who are in the field and some of them earn six figures with years of experience.
I was about to roast you but this decision isnt that bad.
Dont f*** this up

An HVAC Technician can probably help him get a better job somewhere down the line. Especially since he still young. Waiting tables isn’t as good looking on a resume as that unless you have a degree to show off with it

Oh yea I forgot to say I went thru an “Adult Education” program so I still got my diploma. I ended up actually getting it earlier than everyone else. That’s why I say that it was a good idea. I technically graduated early and I’m still technically a high school dropout.
dumb af you gonna regret this s*** in 13 years when all your friends buying their first homes and you still paying rent w roommates
Nobody in this generations gonna be buying houses like that. Fake news.
so you dropped out of high school to fix ppls fridges for a living
(yo but not gonna lie you still smarter than the kid who dropped out to become a rapper/“artist”)
Kind of a stupid argument cus he could’ve went the same route even with a diploma, and he can still go to college to pursue something else. People really believe you need a diploma to do s*** when it’s just not the case

s***s depressing when your parents still can’t speak English and have no college education but still own a big ass home in America while I’m struggling to pay rent every month. Shut makes you feel like a failure tbh

Lmao well I mean I still technically dropped out 😂😂 I just stopped going to school and never went back
When it happened I felt like a loser but now in retrospect it was the best decision I ever made. I’m only 17 and at this rate I will have a career before I’m 20.
Whatever works
Do you my guy

you are right OP, I had one friend not go to a university but go to a school for his trade and he already is in a shop and paying off whats left of his tuition, but be careful and dont slip up, you need to grind for the next few years of your life and figure out exactly what you want to do
