A lot of out of towners fall for tourist traps like Duff’s and Anchor Bar but ignore those, they aren’t a true representation of the city’s finest

Barbell is probably the best quality wing spot that also has that allure and nationwide recognition of the tourist traps. If you’re looking for the full Buffalo experience this would be my #1 pick

Gabriel’s Gate used to be a sleeper but in recent years has creeped up to being regarded amongst the city’s best. Located on one of the city’s best strips, perfect to visit before or after a night of bar hopping

Wing King’s is a relatively newer entry in the conversation, but they’re wide array of unique flavors and consistency has earned them a mention amongst the city’s titans. Not really a sit down spot, best for ordering to go

Kelly’s Korner is a small bar located in north Buffalo that has arguably the best wings in the city. Westside Gunn named a song after this place. It’s not exactly the nicest of spots, but it’s a true local’s bar and the food never disappoints

La Nova is a top 3 pizza spot in Buffalo, but they’re wings are almost held to the same regard. Ran by a mafia family, they use Cadillac Escalades as delivery cars. Not joking. There’s a ton a pizza spots with great wings, but the experience and quality you’ll get from a visit to their west side location is totally worth it

I could name a handful of others, but I think these all offer unique experiences worth visiting on a long weekend

depends on where you’re at, i’ve lived all over but my favorite local spot was gino’s when i lived near there

also as @Pinhead said, la nova is popular choice. but if you’re from buffalo you essentially have to say that due to the nature of the place. there’s a reason barstool sports had to change the rating they gave the place
