yeah. i liked it. s1 was good, then just started to get goofy imo. same thing with foundation. just feels like there's just something missing.
thats how I feel about Expanse but everyone seems to love that show
Had no idea mark strong is in this. Love that guy. Trailer looks alright but doesnt grip me fully.

Same.

I'm yet to start hotd tbh. Let me see if the space version reignites the feel
Felt more GoT than Dune if that makes sense
I can see how Game of Thrones was probably inspired by Dune so this makes sense.
Looks good. You can tell they aren't giving much away but at the end they hook me by teasing the plot of the woman getting on the throne.
It also doesn't look like they are on Arrakis in any of the trailer that might be another reason it doesn't feel like Dune.

You can see the interior settings also and not just a dark background. Why it looks less dune:y probably
Looks very cool tbh. I'm so Dune-pilled rn so I'm definitely in for this. Been needing a new HBO scifi jawn since Westworld been gone

Hope it’s good when it airs tho
i'd like to remind everybody that this is a MAX production and not an HBO production
Kinda strange how this is set 10000 years before the s*** we see in Dune but the world and aesthetics look exactly the same
i'd like to remind everybody that this is a MAX production and not an HBO production
tokyo vice kinda good i think
