I'm very intrigued by their change of sound on this upcoming record. Big departure from that 60's soul sound
Also didn't know that one of their singers Aaron Frazer had dropped a solo earlier this year. He's listed as a "feature" on most of the songs now. I understand tho since he's such a big part but Durand gets his name tagged first

itd be cool to see them hit a different era on each album

yeah i feel but seems like they are kinda staying vintage, but exploring new spaces
per a press release, promises to introduce “a wider range of sounds,” including synths and disco beats, into the band’s classic soul revival sound. “At the end of the day, I just want people to close their eyes and forget where they are. Just the way a Stevie Wonder album does for me,” says Jones in a statement.

yeah this is what I was thinking. def accomplishable for them
So excited for this
American love call is one of my favorite albums from 2019. Kinda wish they had stuck with that sound but Witchoo is a nice song so I’m not too worried about it
seeing them in September
wanted to so bad their last tour but they had the oddest locations
3rd single and vid. Haven't missed yet. Honestly the dance music vibes on this might propel it over the last one for me. They couldn't have handled the 70's transition much better
Loving this. Great transition and impressed on how they do this all without ever seeming like a tribute band or nostalgia group. They simply just make the music of past decades as if they existed then themselves
They gonna have to change the group name at some point it’s pretty clear Aaron Frazier is as much if not more of star of this group lol.
