I like sept 5 more as an album but like
conversations in a diner better than anything on sept 5 if that makes sense
What song is that?

🔥Smash if released with Rihanna or any female artists sza etc
yeah it was their debut...has nothing to do with the music. drake was promoting them more, they were on views etc. fast forward to 2017 and they just dropped an album. thats it. no features on drake stuff...nothing
POV is better than a lot of songs on sept 5th. Mood? Nuh tek time? youre definitely taking your opinion as fact and idk why.
they only thing that "didnt hit well" for DVSN was their last single w future.
You can't use them not being on a Drake album in 2017 as the reason their sophomore album didn't hit the same way. Come on, man, lol. They toured with Drake in 2017 like they did in 2016. Their sophomore album didn't feature the choir like their 2016 album did. I think that was part of it.
Also, you're wrong. The project with their best collection of songs is still Sept. 5th. Hallucinations, With Me, The Line, Too Deep are all classic records. Songs you can play 10 years from now that will still hit. They dropped those songs as singles before the album dropped. Now, compare that to the singles they dropped before they dropped Morning After, lol.
Like I said, Morning After wasn't a bad album, but Sept. 5th is still their best album and it's not particularly close.

That sounds good, but PARTY has never been a hit record artist, lol. He just needs a good body of work. He already has a loyal fanbase. He'll announce a tour and he'll sell out multiple 4-7K capacity venues easily. He did it on his last tour. I just want a good album from him.

yes you can...you dont think being on one of the BIGGEST albums of the decade if not THE BIGGEST is promo??? LOL
drake shouted them out in 4pm in Calabasas too...they just had a lot of buzz cuz they were new.
again bro, your hypothesis makes no sense...majid Jordan also dropped an amazing album in 2017...flew under the radar. its got nothing to do with the music.
im not even gonna debate your opinion on the songs.

Again. I never said the album was bad. I said it was good. I just don't agree that it didn't have the same impact because of a Drake shout-out or feature. I'll never believe that, lol. Their debut and sophomore albums were great. In Majid Jordan's case, I actually love their sophomore album more than their debut. It was more focused. I'm really excited for what they drop next.

True... but that song feels like it could go big.
I just hope the album is good. That's all. Morning After wasn't nearly as good as Sept. 5th, even though it wasn't necessarily a bad album. I just want something that either matches or surpasses the quality of Sept. 5th.
You are CHATTING S*** MORNING AFTER WAS MILES AHEAD OF THEIR DEBUT. STOP TRYING TO BE CONTROVERSIAL

I don’t know if it’s that clean cut
It could go either way

I want that for him. It'd be nice to see him have a legit hit record after writing hits for people.

I mean whats REALLY the difference in DVSN dropping now, or in March, April, etc?
they still have no buzz...either way they not selling nothing amazing. so why would they be upset lol

They told fans February... then had to tell press March... That’s annoying for people who have music ready to go
Nobody who does true R&B does numbers in this climate

But 90% of r&b don’t sell a lot of albums it’s more about the album being out and touring.
