All that hype just to drop mid
Had a feeling this was gone happen but I still held on in good faith
They have built their great catalog up for years, but they have reached a point where they either stay where they are as an underrated/underground R&B act or try shooting for the stars. Now it is their time to go big. Hence them signing with LVRN and working with these writers and producers.
Im sure they are gonna have some real good album cuts for the "old" fans too on here.
Just because it is not what you would have wanted is something you have to deal with. I would wait until hearing the full album. They havent released a wack project yet. Have some faith. Yall just showing how fickle fans really is. So good for them on doing what is best for them.
Good for them, if that's what they want to do. I'm all for them trying to get bigger. I just don't think the music should suffer as a result of that. But like I said, maybe this will sound better in the flow of the album but as a single, it isn't doing it for me.

It just came out. If you not feeling atm. Then dont listen to it for a couple of days. Or just wait for the album.
Like you said, it might fit within the album. Because they sure make real albums with a story and concept to them.

Like any artist or people in general. We change constantly.
yeah i have no problem with their changes in sound, they don't make bad music. i just think the songs themselves weren't as strong. but there's a few i still f*** with
