I always go back to it every couple years the parkour zombies mix is perfect

Absolutely 100% yes. It’s one of my top 5 games of last gen. One of the few games I’d be cool with buying at full price. Get the expansion as well

The first section of dead island is great. The apocalyptic resort setting is an amazing atmosphere.

It is to an extent - I played it as recently as October and it’s aged horrendously. Boring story and gameplay became super tedious - as you say, everything after the resort lets it down.

the parkour mechanic was so fun, def was a step up from mirrors edge

feel like all the time it took this game to make and the fact that they’re p secretive about details kinda gives me hope that no matter when this comes out it will at least be a solid game.

they def could have rushed a sequel but i feel like they’re really waiting to get this one right.

I think a large portion of the reason we’re waiting is that the lead writer of this game got booted off after sexual abuse allegations
