new gameplay looks great
game looks amazing for what it is
open world/city first-person-survival-parkour-zombie-shooter with a cinematic RPG storyline featuring decision based outcomes + up to 4 player coop?
sounds neat
haters, what are u comparing this to?
wait, not sure if i like the host-based coop
there's 2 ways it can go:
A. like Grounded, some1 hosts but its a shared world save file that can be played as a coop ONLY save file
B. like Far Cry 5 and 6 where coop is just your friends joining your world as temporary companions
i really hope its A.

The first one worked as a mix. If you joined another guys world and did missions it also advanced your own missions. But it wasn’t a co-op only save file.
Also the first was barely “survival” it was more crafting weapons/grenades. But it wasn’t like you had to scavenge just to survive.
Picked up the first one on pc after selling my ps4 some years ago. Still as fun as the first time I played it. Really looking forward to the second one.

Same. I don’t even need any groundbreaking new systems/additions just give me more of the first in a new map and I’d be happy.
@op can u plz update thread?
1 month and a week or so left
Damn that came up fast
Damn that came up fast
it wouldve been swallowed by forza, cod, halo, bf2042 so im glad it was delayed haha this one deserves full attention since the publisher isnt a giant
Oh boy I can’t wait to see what mindless grind they invented to occupy 500 hours of time.
If Preston Garvey interrupts me while I’m smashing a zombie’s head in telling me a settlement needs help I’m uninstalling

it’s not mindless grind if it’s optional stuff you can do outside of the main story for players who want it
mindless grind is like when the game requires you to do 40-50 hours of repetitive s*** just to beat it

Do you actually think they’ve come up with 500 hours of unique things to do, that isn’t “repetitive s*** just to beat it?”
If so then I have a bridge to sell you

Not what I said at all, I’m saying you don’t have to do the 500 hours of s*** to to beat it, the post is just talking about getting 100% completion, beating the game will only take 20-30 hours probably and the other content is just side quests and challenges and stuff to get 100% completion if you want to
Like breath of the wild, it’s one thing to do the main quests, and another to get 100% completion (900 koroks, 100 side quests, big compendium, etc)
Damn this new trailer hard af I didn’t know Troy baker was the protagonist, that’s sick tbh
This seems like it’s going to be good and I loved DL1 but for some reason I’m not really that hyped lol
This is so overkill. To 100% the game I need to spend 500 hours of my life
I wish more modern games respected your time
