Yea, I’ve heard alot of average joe/casual listeners use it when describing what they’re not into musically. Mostly whites of course.

Ive def had a conversation or two where people were like “yea I can’t do that mumble rap s***”.
9/10 they’re listening to Eminem, J Cole or Joyner Lucas
