doris is such a teenage album whole thing is so transitionary in terms of sound & style, its awkward as s*** doesnt really know what it wants to be and i dont think ill hardly ever really want to return to it but i have a lot of affection for it still

it's not! i think it has some peak songs, but it's maybe his weakest of his albums, just think the features were really amazing and complemented his music like working w RZA, Mac, Vince, and Frank brought out an amazing side of him back in the day.
