Sidebar, Earl and sLums makes music that I f*** with on a pure musical tip. I like the beats. Dusty and lo-fi loops and soul samples brings me to a simpler time of hip-hop, and in a way drives home the point that the real importance is in the lyrics and the messages. Very self-reflective lyrics. Brutal honesty and recognition of one's flaws, while also expressing a feeling of motivation and empowerment, whether that's in oneself or in their fellow black man or woman.

If you can't feel that then I don't know what to tell you

    i agree with this

i just wish they would all
    quit that subdued delivery s***

    RAP, NIGGAS

What’s annoying is ya’ll are basically advocating for them to not make this type of music, when there’s clearly an audience connecting to it.

Go elsewhere, you’re not going to get what you want. So it’s a waste of time to even complain about it, move on lol

Yeah no doubt. But as far as dust revival I prefer sLums by a little bit

dust revival is only a part of what they do, they also push for new sounds and blend genres
